Reactivated Features

After some upgrading to the site, I have now turned the comments and subscriptions back on again. Anyone who had subscribed before was deleted from the system and will have to subscribe again.

I did this for several reasons…maybe not good ones…but as you could tell with the last post, which was several months ago, that it wasn’t paying (literally) to depend on people to be fair…namely to buy through my links in exchange for my mentoring them. No one was following through with “anything” that I was suggesting they do, so I cleaned house…plain and simple. As I have always said, when there is no participation, there can be no learning.

I have quit worrying about whether anyone wants to learn or should learn. But in turn, I will not commit to meeting any deadlines when it comes to lessons. I will add posts as the mood strikes me. I am retired from the rat-race world of online marketing, and will go back to having a life beyond the keyboard. I will write when I think of a good topic that beginning marketers need to be aware of, but I am not going to worry about it if I don’t. After all, the information is free for all to use at their discretion, and I have no obligation to anyone, nor they to me, so there is no expectations. If they choose to use my links it will be greatly appreciated, but there will be no obligations from either side. It just works better that way.

I will still build web sites for clients for a fee, but only if I manage them with a recurring monthly fee for my services. (I will eventually publish a detailed price list based on the components of the site.) I can’t teach people in a few weeks what it has taken me over 14 years to learn, and there is no point trying, especially when they won’t put forth the effort to absorb it. On my end, I will continue to build and maintain our personally owned sites, which is and always was our main focus to begin with. Those who wish to look over my shoulder and observe, and maybe learn a few things, are welcome to. If you have questions, please ask, and I will try to help.

To those who do choose to offer something in return, and use my links or donate, please know that I am appreciative of everything you do. For those who take without giving…well it is what it is. Karma has a way of balancing things out.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if I can answer any questions for you.
